“I have been working with Coach Davis for over a year now.  I am National and World Master Olympic Weightlifter who fights with mental aspects of weightlifting.  I have a very stubborn brain that always wants to be in control and Kerry has been super patient, supportive, and understanding of my problems.  We have been taking issues one at a time and my brain is slowly accepting the new cues and procedures.  I would absolutely recommend Kerry Davis as an amazing mental coach who can help a lifter get the most from their training."

“For the last six months or so I have dedicated time to regeneration sessions with Nik Edens almost weekly.  Nik is incredibly knowledgeable about the body, movement patterns, and fixing dysfunctional movement.  In the past I  have seen chiropractors, physical therapists, massage therapists and other healers and this was what my body needed to finally make true improvements with my pain and mobility in my hips and shoulders.  Nik has kept me moving well and making amazing progress with my Olympic lifts.  I don’t know where I’d be without Nik and the regeneration sessions!”

Olympic weightlifting is a great sport for anybody at any age.  I got a late start to the sport in my late 50's when Coach Dan Fischer started Boise Barbell.  Now in my late 60's I am still going strong and have won three national masters championships...so far.  Dan demonstrates patience in teaching us the correct technique of the sport with a positive approach.  As we challenge our bodies physically, I have also been thankful for the regenerative sessions from Coack Nik Edens.  Working on my shoulder and back, Nik has relieved the discomfort as well as provided me with individual exercises to promote better mobility and healing.  I highly recommend Boise Barbell.  I can't imagine training anywhere else.

After months of a close friend encouraging me to try out Boise Barbell, I finally got up the courage to go in.  I will forever be grateful that I did.  Boise Barbell is my family, my friends, my sanity!  I went hoping to look better in a swimsuit and what I got was so much more!  I gained confidence, I learned how to keep at something even when it got tough.  I found the desire to remain consistent and to develop a healthy mind and body.  My kids have joined, and also found a second family, learned to set and achieve goals.  I can't imagine my life without this place that is so much more than a barbell club.
